Rebels BU17 ECNL Earns Spot in 2026–27 ECNL Boys Super Cup
Rebels Soccer Club is proud to announce that our BU17 ECNL team has officially qualified for the 2026–27 ECNL Boys Super Cup, earning its place among some of the top-performing clubs in the country.
The ECNL Boys Super Cup continues to bring together elite teams from across the ECNL landscape, and for the first time, the 2026–27 competition will include the U17 age group. Rebels SC is one of just eight U17 clubs selected to represent the West Region, joining Boise Timbers, Davis Legacy, Pateadores, Santa Clara Sporting, SDSC Surf, Seattle United, and XF Academy.
For our players and coaching staff, earning a place in this competition represents another important opportunity to test themselves in a best-on-best environment while representing Rebels Soccer Club on a national platform.
“This group has earned this opportunity through their commitment, belief, and willingness to work for one another,” said BU17 ECNL Head Coach Luis Cardona.
“We’re proud to have earned our spot in the Super Cup, but we know the work doesn’t stop here. Now it’s time to keep pushing and show what we’re made of. We’re not done yet.”
The Road to the Super Cup Finals
The West Coast portion of the ECNL Boys Super Cup will begin at ECNL Boys Phoenix, November 20–22, 2026. The eight U17 West Region teams will be divided into two groups of four, with each club playing three matches to determine seeding for the knockout stage.
Competition will then continue at the Surf College Cup at Surf Sports Park, November 27–29, 2026, where teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. The West Region champion will earn a place in the ECNL Boys National Super Cup Finals in Indianapolis in April 2027.
The new format creates another high-level competitive environment for Rebels players while providing additional opportunities to compete in front of college and professional scouts.
Representing the Rebels Identity
Qualifying for the ECNL Boys Super Cup is another opportunity for our BU17 ECNL players to showcase the identity, culture, and competitive standard that define Rebels Soccer Club.
It is also a reflection of the work taking place every day within our player development pathway—from the commitment of our players and coaches to the families and staff who continue to support their journey.
Congratulations to our BU17 ECNL players, Head Coach Luis Cardona, and the entire coaching staff on earning this opportunity.
The stage is set. Now it’s time to compete.
Tradition Fuels Our Future.
