Rebels Soccer Club is excited to welcome Greg LaPorte to our ECNL coaching staff, adding a highly respected and experienced leader to our player development pathway.

LaPorte brings an impressive background of coaching and player development experience at both the youth and collegiate levels. Throughout his career, he has played an instrumental role in helping players maximize their potential while creating environments that emphasize technical growth, tactical understanding, and a passion for the game.

His coaching experience includes leadership roles within some of Southern California’s top youth soccer organizations, including Surf Soccer Club and City SC, where he contributed to both Development Academy and ECNL environments. In addition, LaPorte has extensive experience within the women’s game through his work in the WPSL, helping bridge the gap between youth, collegiate, and professional soccer pathways.

Most recently, LaPorte has continued to impact the collegiate game through his work at the University of San Diego, where he has helped develop student-athletes competing at one of the nation’s premier NCAA Division I programs.

As Rebels Soccer Club continues to strengthen its ECNL platform, adding experienced coaches with proven success at the highest levels remains a priority. Greg’s knowledge of player development, recruiting pathways, and elite competition environments will be a tremendous asset to our players, families, and coaching staff.

“We are thrilled to welcome Greg to the Rebels family. His experience, professionalism, and commitment to developing players align perfectly with our club’s vision and values. His addition further strengthens the opportunities available to our players as they pursue their goals at the youth, collegiate, and beyond.”

The addition of Greg LaPorte reflects Rebels Soccer Club’s ongoing commitment to providing a first-class development environment and ensuring our players have access to exceptional coaching and mentorship.
